IC Imaging Control 1.1 Released
Posted by Stefan Geißler on February 4, 2002
We are happy to announce that today we have released a new ActiveX and C++ class library for image acquisition. Developed to be compatible to most WDM video sources, IC Imaging Control is all developers need to add analog or digital video capture to their application with minimum effort. At a glance:
- ActiveX and C++ class library
- Capture video from USB, Firewire, PCI, PC-Card and DV devices
- Build one application that runs on PCs with PCI cards and also on standard laptop hardware with no modification
- Switch between video sources on-the-fly
- Full frame at full resolution live video preview (even on laptops)
- Single frame and image sequence capture
- Video codec support to write to AVI
Deploying IC Imaging Control reduces development time and saves money. Thanks to the WDM specification, developers can create one application that will work with multiple video sources. Furthermore, it is no longer necessary to purchase extensive test hardware, as IC Imaging Control has already been tested with USB, Firewire cameras, PCI, PC-Card frame grabbers and DV devices.
IC Imaging Control is suited to developers working on teleconferencing, surveillance, multimedia, medical imaging, machine vision or microscopy projects.
