Which Devices are Supported by IC Imaging Control?

Here in the Support Department, we are often asked for a list of image acquisition devices that are supported by IC Imaging Control.

Thankfully, there is no need for a list, as:

All devices for which a WDM stream class driver is available can be accessed - both programmatically and via the built in dialog boxes - from IC Imaging Control.

A small selection of such devices would include:

• Industrial FireWire cameras
• Industrial USB cameras
• Low cost web cameras
• Video-to-FireWire converters
• DV devices, such as camcorders

For DV devices, IC Imaging Control even offers support for play controls, such as fast forward, stop and rewind.
