Devices.Count Property
Returns the count of Device objects in the collection.
Syntax: 
Public Count As Long
Limitations:

Read only.
Example:

This Basic example determines whether devices are available: 

Dim DevCol As Devices
Set DevCol = ICImagingControl1.Devices
If DevCol.Count > 0 then
    ' do something 
else
    ' no devices available 
End If
